Hi! I’m Mehrnaz, a second-year medical student, and I’m excited to help you on your journey to medical school in Canada.

I did my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Kinesiology at UBC before getting accepted at USask’s MD program as an out-of-province applicant. I’ve been through the whole process – from the MCAT and CASPer, to MMIs and panel interviews – and I know how overwhelming it can feel. It can be tough trying to figure everything out on your own, especially when it’s such a big life decision.

For me, having a friend, who was already in medical school, during this process made all the difference. They really helped me stay on track, gave me valuable feedback, and made the whole thing feel a little less intimidating. Now, I want to pay that forward and help others in the same way. I'm excited to help you embrace your unique background and experiences and guide you in building the confidence to stand out during the application process.
