Hi! My name is Mikayla, and I’m a third year medical student at the University of Manitoba. I am a non-traditional applicant as I did a Bachelor of Nursing before applying to medical school. As someone who applied multiple times to medical school, utilizing different CASPer and MMI prep techniques, including MedCoach, I can provide some insight into some of the challenges of applications, as well as how to utilize a strength-based approach toward success. I have experience with the interview format at U of M, as well as previous experience with a panel interview for an international school.
